My Obsession

Time: 11:24pm wed night

finally today we end our last lesson of this semester
which means to say our holiday has started!

went for k with siew kee and charisse today
but did not take any pics haha
it's been a long time since i went for one
but the food for the k lunch wasn't really good...

then it was ed psyc class and went down for our class dinner
at orchard sakura. haha food was ok din really eat to cover back my cost
but the fellowship was simply hilarious.
i simply cannot imagine us to be future teachers. lol

but one thing i really want to blog about is on tuesday
dear and i finally cooked!
haha we wanted to try this after inspiration from our frens too.
anyway ours is small scale compared to some of our frens'
but they are nice!

Ebi prawn by chef Clark! It's very nice! and we esp bought 2 tiger prawns (tho they are quite ex) :D

i cooked the udon with the wonton and crab meat. :) the soup can be sweeter tho but it's not too bad for my standard (i think). haha

Time: 8:55pm sun night

a rare day that i stayed at home!
haha that is apart from going out to get some stuff and jogging.

hmm supposed to be doing the ed psyc assignment...
but the status now is still 0/1000.
finished the instructional package just now...
decided to add in another worksheet last minute...
but i forgot it's not just abt coming up with another worksheet...
it's also the answer scheme
so that took me abt 3 hrs... (of course + surfing other stuff lol)

ok i hope to start at least hmm a few hundred words by tonight...
Hol hasn't quite started but i m totally in the holiday mood... haha
i think many of my classmates would have agree with me on this.

come to think of it...
i have been so busy with my assignments that i din realize
i m only 3 weeks to my korea and hk trip!
as usual... i dun think much of it until a few days away
pray for journey mercy n protection n that it will be a fun trip :)

: Ed psyc - 1000 words by 25th Nov
: Spa assignment - 4 to 6 pages by 4th dec
: bio field trip and another ed psyc assignment - to be handed in when sch reopens
: Lesson plans for next year practicum : endless

Time: 12:06am fri night

this week is a nice week because all my lessons have ended
(well except for one ed psyc class next week)
but most impt thing is i get to wake up later!

i went crazy for the past 2 days for my shopping...
met up with zoe on thurs for dinner and shopping @ lot 1
i was quite disappointed with the clothing there
then we went into cotton on
(honestly i dun think i will get any stuff there but just
going in cos zoe wan to see some stuff)
then... in the end... i bought more than her! lol

and just today after QLK i went to raffles city!
haha initially thot of going home but still persevere
cos i m quite sick of my clothing collection
in the end while waiting for dear...
i bought a pair of pumps and a bag from CK! (not calvin klein but charles & keith haha)
then we went for a short meal and walked ard...
after dear went for his cgm...
i continued my shopping @ raffles city
and i bought another top from espirit!

This is all thanks to the shopping vouchers i got from my frens during my birthday!!!
so with all the vouchers i had i had bought....
: 1) Zara shorts
: 2) 2 Zara t-shirts
: 3) 2 jackets, 1 dress, 1 cardigan from Cotton on
: 4) 1 pair of pump and bag from Charles and keith
The espirit top was from my own money haha

sigh but i lost my limited ed starbucks tumbler
i have a tendency to lose my water bottles...

got pretty good feedback today during my QLK session
got A for both oral presentation and podcast. thank God for His grace. :)

i m a shopaholic!

Time: 11:08 pm mon night

it's been 1 wk plus since i last updated...
had 3 assignments submitted last week and 2 tests done...
this week i m left with the instructional package, ed psych 1000 word assignment, seat in test on thurs...
and field trip for bio left during dec...

met up with zoe last week for a dinner and study out night
she's one of the nicest fren i have
and it's amazing how our friendship starts from pos in NUS. :)
She's a pretty gal really...

finally after a long week of work last week
i went cycling with dear at sentosa on sun!
(still prefer ecp to cycle... shall go there soon!)

and Dear gave me a baby elmo! (or rather i asked him to buy for me ;p)

shall take a pic of it soon.

almost all my lessons will be ended by this week. only have 1 lesson on next wed!
finally i can sleep in :)

2 more weeks before most of my lessons end at NIE!
Assignments after assignments haha...
almost every week i have to hand in 3 assignments (group and individual, paper and presentations included)

for now i m left with these assignments to be submitted
: 1) male biologist essay (2000/1800 words with referencing only left to be done and maybe a bit more editing) - 12th Nov
: 2) sharinn's alternative assessment (997/1000 with referencing left to be done and rubics and timeline to be included) - 9th Nov
: 3) Biology website presentation - 11th Nov
: 4) Tsoi's group project: Instructional package - 23rd Nov
: 5) Ed Psyc's individual assignment (1000 words) - 25th Nov

I think that's about all... about 90% done for 1 n 2 and 3 will take only a while...
i m therefore left with only 4 n 5... i m beginning to see some light to this never ending amt of work. lol

* pray for favour and grace on all these assignments

Last week's lunch was really interesting as i met dear and his colleagues at NTU for lunch for some of the days. they were conducting lectures nearby and i felt small as they were all quite hmm muscular lol...

also went up to Khatib most of the days for dinner...
i had never really been there before and it is amazing that i went there 3 times in a week's time!
but it's a nice change from town setting...
both dear and i are quite sick from town and am looking forward for more natural settings... ha

You know you are a blessed and happy gf when
:1) when there's a situation that could lead to your bf being impatient and get angry and ignore you but he choose to react with patience, caring for your welfare, smile and joke with you still :)
:2) when he sacrifices his most precious sleep after 24 hrs shift just to make you a cake that you like
:3) when he is worried sick when he couldn't get you to verify if you are home safe
:4) when he often tells you how impt and special you are to him
:5) when he enjoys and wants to pray and serve with you :D
:6) when he makes an effort to come into your world and enjoy the things you do together with you
:7) when you simply find yourself loving him more and more each day. :)

It's a mushy post but who cares :)
