Time: 1:11pm @ SIM on Saturday afternoon
With the end of this week, I will be back for another 2 weeks of teaching before the June Holidays. Trust me not only the students have the post exam depression and pre holiday excitement. Teachers do too. It was a fairly good break during the examination period but to have 2 more weeks of studies is -.-'.
Went to marmalade pantry with Siu Kee and Charisse last Monday and ordered sea salt caramel cheesecake and apple and cinammon cake. Both tastes great! and the cupcakes looks great too. A little ex and may have been better if the scenery is great. but the desserts itself tastes great.
Earlier on I dropped by bras basah wanting to buy just this photography book that has been on my mind for the past 1 week. But instead I walked out with 3 books! and it costs me 150! but felt rather satisfied with the buy. Am keen to explore in the area of wedding photography. Not planning for a possible career switch as I felt that wedding photography is just too stressful but just felt entrigued by the special moments that can be captured on the photos. :)

Today's labour day! A public holiday and it's a long awaited one after 6 wks of rushing through the syllabus etc... and next week it's another long weekend for us!
received my another long awaited wedding photos from our photographer from Digio and Nicole! :)
Really enjoyed looking through the photos as it brought back many memories of the day and I am still ultra glad to have selected all of our wonderful vendors and friends who have helped us tremendously that day!
As promised I will update slowly on the details of our wedding... hopefully it can help some people in their planning... just as how their blogs have helped us too... :D
I shall start with our venue first.
Matrimony location: Burkill Hall @ Singapore Botanical Gardens
The location of the matrimony place was the toughest to source and decide for. Initially we have decided and even place a booking for Raffles House @ Fort Canning. But the house is really small and can only accommodate 80 people and it's such a long walk from the carpark and can you imagine the horror for our guests if it rains heavily? The cost of the tentage was also a hefty cost...
Then one day at a cg outing after svc to the botanical gardens, I was reminded of Burkill Hall and immediately we emailed the personnel. We couldn't get it on the desired Saturday that we wanted but thank God that we still have the sunday slot! And so we managed to book Burkill Hall!
Subsequently was the mad coordination for the decorations, the planning and the constant praying for the good weather! :) An overview of the place... it's not easy to get this view because the house is huge!
We love the beautiful colonial view :)
The second floor before the tables and the buffet comes in...
There's also a side carpark next to the hall but it can probably only accommodate 10 cars max.
The staircase at the back that leads to the second floor...
The balcony on the second floor... nicely decorated by our friends :)
Our friendly ushers ushering our guests at the front entrance... behind is our reception area :)
The short trail leading to Burkill Hall... it's a short walk from the Burkill Gate...
The place at the back that I was standbying for the first march in :) My cute page boy and flower girls....
The first floor and also my aisle :) Btw the sheltered way at the back leads to the washroom. Therefore a plus point is that the toilets are quite accessible unlike Raffles House... :)
The air conditioned VIP room for us to change and rest before the ceremony starts :) also where we have our tea ceremony as well... It also comes with a big toilet... :)

Time: 9:32pm @ home on Sun night
This weekend was a relaxing one though I did still work a bit. My ultimate goal is that I do not need to do a single bit of work over the weekend and without feeling guilty or having to piang like mad over the weekdays.
Was planning for our Europe trip man it's not as easy... now we got to settle the train tickets over various cities fast and make clear of our directions and map. Please pray for our safety as we fly from 1st to 17th june! :)
Many has asked how's married life and my reply was always it's about the same. haha usually to avoid going through a long story but honestly it's been better than when we were singles though also much more work. When we were still dating, we would have to go out for dates more often, dear would have to drive me back and then back to his house again, go to tons of places for various appointments for our wedding preparation.
Now as a married couple, we get to wake up with each other by our side :) (though at unearthly hour because I am a teacher, would love to just rest still we wake up naturally), try to pray together just before we rest, no need to have to shuffle between our places so often... (though we still have to alternate between our parents' places) at the moment. The only thing is that Dear has a shift job which means there will be 1 full day which Dear will not be at home. Always trying to just endure through the day and make as full use of it as possible. And of course as I am typing this now I am missing him!
Ever since we started dating in 2009 transforming from friends to couple, I have always known that here is a guy that I wanna stick with for the rest of my life. He has always been patient with me and tells me super often of how special I am (o well we all need that special someone to make us feel special right? :p), willing to go through all the thick and thin situations with me.
And of course, I didn't tell him this but you know just like the movie, the male lead is usually awestruck by a particular pose of the female lead and the heart goes pumping a little faster? Well that's how I am as well! :) Sometimes I will feel like that and it just draws me a little closer to him again and again! Had a lovely weekend this week as we try to spend time together alone and also with his family. Can't wait for week 6 to be over and Mid year to start! Can catch some breathe and a mini break from teaching during Mid Year! :)
Seriously my MIL's cat has an awesome life.
The cheesecake from the cheesecake cafe. Finally we find our way there ~
It's just going to be all about us! A little too dark here...
Love this boy! :D

and the next 2 Fridays don't look hmm very appealing either...
Frankly now I can't think very straight cos physically I am just too drained.
Sunday is another big service to run after a long break...

Hello, I am basically a gal who loves God, her family and of course her dear dear Clark. Hmm not to forget my friends too!
Currently in the process of finding out what she really wants to do for her life and prays that everyday is a good day with all her loved ones. :)
